Yokohama pitcher Matsuzaka throws no-hitter at Koshien (1)
KOSHIEN, Japan - Daisuke Matsuzaka, pitcher of the Yokohama High School baseball team, is tossed into the air after the closing ceremony of the 80th national high school baseball championship at Koshien Stadium. Matsuzaka led Yokohama High School to the national championship, pitching a no-hitter in the final of the tournament. Yokohama beat Kyoto Seisho High School 3-0. The photo was taken on Aug. 22, 1998.
