Kirin Brewery to launch friendly tender offer for Mercian shares

TOKYO, Japan - Kazuyasu Kato (L), president of Kirin Brewery Co., and Yuji Okabe, president of Mercian Corp., shake hands at a press conference in Tokyo on Nov. 16.
