JFE's China venture opens plant for automotive sheet steel

GUANGZHOU, China - JFE Steel Corp. President Hajime Bada signs an agreement in Guangzhou, China on March 6 to form a joint venture between JFE Steel and China's Guangzhou Iron & Steel Enterprises Holdings Ltd. to build a plant in Guangzhou for making automotive steel sheet to supply to Japanese carmakers operating in China.
