Matsushita acquires 80% stake in India's Anchor Electricals

OSAKA, Japan - Matsushita Electric Works Ltd. President Koichi Hatanaka tells a press conference in Osaka on April 23 that the company has acquired an 80 percent stake in Indian electrical housing material maker Anchor Electricals Private Ltd. at a cost of about 50 billion yen. (Kyodo)
