Daimaru, Matsuzakaya shareholders OK merger plan
NAGOYA, Japan - Shareholders of Matsuzakaya Holdings Co. head to the company's general meeting in Nagoya on May 24. Shareholders of both Matsuzakaya and Daimaru Inc. approved the planned merger between the companies, formally clearing the way for the creation of Japan's biggest department store group in September.
