Toyota starts producing new Corolla at joint venture in China

TIANJIN, China - Tianjin FAW Toyota Motor Co., a joint venture between Japan's Toyota Motor Corp. and Chinese automaker FAW Group Corp., began production of the new Toyota Corolla at its third plant in Tianjin on May 28 in a bid to capitalize on the growing auto market in China.
