Japan moon explorer enters orbit for observation

TOKYO, Japan - Two giant craters on the moon, Demonax (upper left) and Hale (upper right), are seen in this image taken by Japan's first lunar probe, Kaguya, and released by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency on Oct. 21. The agency said that Kaguya has been positioned into a lunar observation orbit and is ready to start its mission just over a month after its launch. (Kyodo)
