Fukuda visits primary school in Beijing

BEIJING, China - Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda (R), accompanied by his wife Kiyoko, visits a primary school in Beijing on Dec. 29 and signs his name on a scroll written by students there that says ''Sino-Japanese friendship.'' The school, where students learn Japanese as a foreign language, has been designated to support Japanese visitors during next year's Beijing Summer Olympic Games under the Chinese government's ''one school, one country'' campaign.
