Hakuho stunned to share lead with Asa at New Year sumo

TOKYO, Japan - Sekiwake Ama (R) tipped the stunned Mongolian grand champion Hakuho (L) onto the clay surface with a clinical ''uwatenage'' throw at the New Year Grand Sumo Tournament in Tokyo on Jan. 22. Hakuho suffered his first loss in the tournament to share the lead with yokozuna rival Asashoryu. (Kyodo)
