Japanese economy grows annual 3.7% in Oct.-Dec. qtr
TOKYO, Japan - Economic and fiscal policy minister Hiroko Ota speaks at a news conference after the Cabinet Office announced Japan's gross domestic product data for the October-December quarter on Feb. 14. Japan's real economy grew a stronger-than-expected annualized 3.7 percent in the October-December quarter, aided by brisk Asia-bound exports and firm corporate capital spending. (Kyodo)
