Japanese astronaut Hoshide returns to Earth
CAPE CANAVERAL, United States - Japanese astronaut Akihiko Hoshide smiles during a press conference at Kennedy Space Center in Florida on June 14. Earlier in the day, the U.S. space shuttle Discovery, with Hoshide on board, returned to Earth, ending a two-week mission to deliver the main unit of Japan's first manned space facility to the International Space Station.
