Olympic torch runs through Lhasa amid massive security

LHASA, China - Two Olympic torches -- one carried from the peak of Mt. Everest (L) and the other (R) from torch relays held across China -- are lifted on the stage of an Olympic torch relay ceremony held in front of the Potala palace in Lhasa on June 21. The ceremony took place after the Olympic torch was run through the streets of Lhasa amid massive security. (Kyodo)
