Nikkei ends 6% higher

TOKYO, Japan - An electronic board at a securities company in Tokyo's Nihonbashi district on Oct. 28 shows the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average up 459.02 points from Oct. 27 to 7,621.92 after reversing earlier losses that sent the key Nikkei index falling below the 7,000 line for the first time in 26 years.
