Asashoryu snubs reporters over behavior on return to Japan
NARITA, Japan - Mongolian sumo grand champion Asashoryu arrives at Narita airport in Japan from his homeland on Jan. 30. Asked to comment on the Japan Sumo Association's reprimand of his stablemaster Takasago because Asashoryu's fist-pumping in the ring after winning the New Year Grand Sumo Tournament was regarded as contrary to proper etiquette in the centuries-old sport, the yokozuna merely said ''I don't know.''
