Japan's Aono 2nd at World Cup snowboarding meet
CYPRESS MOUNTAIN, Canada - Ryo Aono of Japan (L) celebrates after finishing second in the men's halfpipe final at a World Cup snowboarding meet in Cypress Mountain, Canada, on Feb. 14 with Shaun White of the United States (R), who won the championship. Aono earned 44.8 points on his first run at the meet, doubling as a test event for the 2010 Vancouver Games, to finish behind Turin Olympic champion White, who prevailed with the best score of 47.3.
