Aso heads to Washington for talks with Obama
TOKYO, Japan - Prime Minister Taro Aso waves as he boards his night flight to Washington on Feb. 23 to be the first foreign leader to meet with President Barack Obama at the White House. In Washington, the two leaders will underscore the importance of the bilateral alliance by reaffirming their cooperation on the economic crisis, antiterrorism efforts and global warming. (Kyodo)
