DPJ launches new leadership under Hatoyama
TOKYO, Japan - Yukio Hatoyama, newly elected president of the main opposition Democratic Party of Japan, addresses a meeting of the party's lawmakers at the DPJ's headquarters in Tokyo on May 19. The new party's top executives, including Ichiro Ozawa who is serving as acting president in charge of election strategy, was formally approved by the meeting. (Kyodo)
