Imperial family visits children's park in Yokohama
YOKOHAMA, Japan - At Kodomonokuni, a children's park in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Emperor Akihito (behind pole) and Empress Michiko (C) met again with a pony that was sent by the president of Argentina as a gift in 1979, on Dec. 19, 2009. The imperial couple visited the nearly 100-hectare park, which was opened in commemoration of their marriage 50 years ago, with their children and grandchildren. (Pool photo) (Kyodo)
