A paper crane folded by Sadako Sasaki, a Japanese girl who died at age 12 a decade after being exposed to radiation from the 1945 U.S. atomic bombing of Hiroshima, is donated to the San Paulo legislative assembly on Sept. 1, 2015, to spread the message of peace while on display along with her portrait.
