Artificially incubated cormorant debuts as fish hunter in Kyoto

Utty, Japan's first cormorant born through artificial incubation, is brought back to the boat by cormorant fishing master Mariko Sawaki after making a catch on its first day as a traditional "ukai" fish hunter on Sept. 5, 2015, on the Uji River in Uji, Kyoto Prefecture, western Japan. Sawaki has been taking care of Utty since it was born in June 2014. (Kyodo) ==Kyodo
