Kyoto temple on World Heritage list shows replica of treasured doors
Byodo-in Temple in Uji, Kyoto Prefecture, western Japan, shows the press a pair of replica doors on the west side of its Hoodo Hall on Oct. 2, 2015, before their opening to the public from the following day. The doors are designated as a national treasure by the central government. (Kyodo)
