Replica of treasured doors shown at temple on World Heritage list
A pair of replica doors on the west side of the Hoodo Hall at Byodo-in Temple in Uji, Kyoto Prefecture, western Japan, are shown to the press on Oct. 2, 2015, prior to their public display. The doors, designated as a national treasure by the central government, include a painting (L) on the back of one. (Kyodo)
