Body scanner tested at western Japan airport
The monitor of a body scanner at Kansai International Airport off Osaka, western Japan, is shown to the press on Oct. 14, 2015, a day before the start of a test run. The device uses radio waves to see through passengers' clothes and displays suspicious objects (yellow square at the waist) on the monitor, which shows a human figure instead of the passenger's real body for privacy reasons.
