Students promote tricky sake cup dating back to feudal era

Students of Nagaoka University in the eastern Japan city of Nagaoka show on Dec. 15, 2015, a "jubunhai," a tricky sake cup that has a siphon inside an ornament at center similar to a Greek Pythagorean cup. When sake is poured to fill more than eight-tenths of the cup's capacity, the liquid will leak out through a hole at its bottom.
