Kyoto to host World Cup draw next May

World Rugby Chief Executive Brett Gosper speaks at a press conference in Tokyo on June 30, 2016, the same day the organizing committee for the 2019 World Cup in Japan announced that its draw will be hosted in the western Japan city of Kyoto in May next year. Gosper said the draw will be an opportunity to promote the Japan tournament to an international audience, and that holding the draw in Kyoto would help entice potential visitors to come to Japan.
