Tension mounts for Japanese troops in S. Sudan
South Sudanese visit a market on Dec. 13, 2016, in Juba, where Japanese troops are taking part in U.N. peacekeeping operations. The troops have also been handed new responsibilities, including rescues of U.N. staff and other personnel when under attack and of playing a bigger part in protecting the camps of U.N. peacekeepers.
