Special shinkansen to spur tourism in disaster-hit northeastern Japan

The one-day operation of the shinkansen train adorned with designs of mascots related to the six prefectures is part of the six-month Visit Tohoku, Find Japan campaign launched by East Japan Railway Co. and local municipalities on April 1 to mark the 10th anniversary of the disaster.
