Yokozuna slickhead fish
Photo taken Feb. 17, 2021, shows a specimen of yokozuna slickhead deep-sea fish on display at Tokai University Marine Science Museum in Shizuoka, central Japan.
The 1.1-meter-long bizarre-looking fish, named after the top rank in sumo wrestling, was discovered at a depth of about 2,100 meters in Suruga Bay off Shizuoka Prefecture in October 2018.
