Memorial museum of 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake

A staff member of a museum to commemorate the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami, and the subsequent Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant crisis prepares to exhibit a signboard reading "Nuclear power: energy for a bright future" on March 24, 2021, in Futaba in Fukushima Prefecture. The signboard, which used to be seen in the town that co-hosts the crippled nuclear power plant, became one of the exhibits at the museum the same day, serving as an ironic reminder of the trust Japan placed in the safety of nuclear power.
