Fossilized jawbone judged as that of newly discovered lizard species
A fossilized lower jawbone unearthed in 2007 from a geological layer of the Lower Cretaceous (some 110 million years ago) in Sasayama, Hyogo Prefecture, western Japan, is shown to the press at the Museum of Nature and Human Activities in nearby Sanda on Feb. 4, 2015. It has proved to be that of a newly discovered lizard species. (Kyodo)
