Hiroshima court questions 2014 election due to gap in vote value
Plaintiffs' attorneys walk to the Hiroshima High Court in western Japan on March 24, 2015, before a ruling on vote disparity in the December 2014 lower house election. The court ruled the election was "in a state of unconstitutionality" due to a disparity in the weight of votes between districts, but rejected the plaintiffs' demand that its results be nullified. Similar decisions were made by other courts earlier in the month. (Kyodo)
