Japanese photographer-artist depicts agonies of finger loss
Misako Oba, a former TV announcer, shows in Tokyo on Dec. 18, 2014, a collection of artistic photos depicting her agonies associated with the loss of her right little finger as a result of arteriovenous malformation disease. The book was published by the Sokyusha publishing house earlier that year. (Kyodo)
