Son of WWII Imperial Japanese Army officer talks about his father

Masami Murai, the fourth son of World War II Imperial Japanese Army Maj.-Gen. Gonjiro Murai, who served as a strategist in the ill-fated garrison defending the Peleliu Island battlefield in the western Pacific before killing himself, talks about his late father on March 18, 2015, in Morioka, Iwate Prefecture, northeastern Japan. The son later visited Peleliu in the republic of Palau on April 9 to witness the Japanese imperial couple's visit to the island to commemorate those who lost their lives there during the war, saying he believes that the imperial visit must have "satisfied him."
