3 central Japan mayors seek early resolution to abduction cases
The mayors of three cities where Japanese nationals abducted by Pyongyang and later repatriated back home live meet the press in Hakusan, Ishikawa Prefecture, central Japan, on May 14, 2015. The mayors are (from L) Koji Matsuzaki of Obama, Fukui Prefecture, Hiroshi Aida of Kashiwazaki and Motonari Kai of Sado, both in Niigata Prefecture. They called on the government to step up efforts for an early resolution of the abduction issue. (Kyodo)
