Oze National Park opened
Photo taken from a Kyodo News helicopter on May 21, 2015, shows people walking in lingering snow in the Oze National Park in central Japan. The park, known for white skunk cabbage, was opened to the public for the season the same day. The number of visitors fell to around 281,300 in 2011 in the wake of the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disasters in March that year, but it had recovered to 315,400 in 2014. (Kyodo)
