Transport safety board starts investigation
Three investigators of the Japan Transport Safety Board are ready to start investigations on June 4, 2015, over an alleged severe breach of runway safety involving three aircraft, including an Air Self-Defense Force helicopter, at Naha Airport in the southernmost Japanese prefecture of Okinawa the previous day. The airport with a 3,000-meter runway is used by both civilian and Self-Defense Forces aircraft. (Kyodo)
