Buddha Cafe opens in Bamiyan
Afghan tourists make themselves comfortable on June 7, 2015, at Buddha Cafe, which opened in March in the central Afghan town of Bamiyan. The cafe is located near one of the former Buddha cliff carvings destroyed by the Taliban in 2001 and concerns persist over security, discouraging foreign tourists from visiting. (Kyodo)
