Survivor recalls 1945 U.S. air raid on cross-strait ferries
Mikio Miura recounts in an interview on July 14, 2015, in Hakodate, Hokkaido Prefecture, northern Japan, his terrifying experience as a crew member aboard the No. 6 Seikan Maru, one of 12 ferries linking Aomori and Hakodate across the Tsugaru Strait that were attacked by U.S. planes in July 1945 toward the end of World War II.
