Documents left by 19th century Swiss consul in Japan displayed
One of the documents left by Arnold Dumelin, who served as Swiss Consul-General in Yokohama, Japan, in the late 19th century, is displayed in this photo taken on July 30, 2015, in Berne. Some 1,000 pages of Dumelin's documents including his letters have been discovered at the home of Dumelin's grandchild in Frauenfeld, northern Switzerland. (Kyodo)
