Ex-Manhattan Project engineer Brown gives interview in Washington
Norman Brown, who participated in the Manhattan Project in Los Alamos, New Mexico, as an engineer of the Special Engineer Detachment, gives an interview at his home in Washington in June 2015. He was involved in purifying the plutonium that went in the atomic bomb dropped on Nagasaki. He told his Japanese friend about his involvement in the project after visiting Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1994. (Kyodo)
