Japan's 2nd-largest opposition party may disband amid internal strife
Osaka Gov. Ichiro Matsui, who also serves as Japan Innovation Party adviser, tells reporters in Osaka on Aug. 27, 2015, of his decision to leave the second-largest opposition party. Matsui also said Osaka Mayor Toru Hashimoto is prepared to quit as supreme adviser amid internal strife over support offered by the party's secretary general to a mayoral candidate without official party endorsement.
