Egypt to hold election for parliament not convened for 3 years
A candidate holds Sept. 30, 2015 his own election banner in the northern Egyptian city of Alexandria, for parliamentary elections beginning Oct. 18. The election is billed as the final step in achieving full normalization after the Arab Spring in 2013. However many young Egyptians who fought on the frontlines of the mass movement have lost their enthusiasm and are distancing themselves from politics as few candidates are challenging current Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi.
