Japan in talks on rules for paid accommodation in private residences
A panel of experts set up by the Japan Tourism Agency and the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare holds its first meeting in Tokyo on Nov. 27, 2015. The panel is trying to set rules for the growing practice of unauthorized individuals providing paid accommodation in private residences, amid a rise in foreign visitors to Japan. (Kyodo)
