Company plans to fly jet using biofuel made from green algae

Mitsuru Izumo, president of Euglena Corp., briefs reporters on his company's plan to fly a passenger jet using a mix of jet fuel and biofuel made from green algae by 2020 in cooperation with All Nippon Airways Co., during a press conference in Tokyo on Dec. 1, 2015.
