Kiyoshi Ejima (L), Japan's parliamentary vice minister of land, infrastructure, transport and tourism, gives a gift to a Chinese family at the port of Fukuoka on Dec. 8, 2015, during a ceremony celebrating Japan achieving its goal of having one million cruise ship visitors from abroad in a year. A weaker yen and relaxed visa requirements helped Japan reach the mark earlier than its initial target year of 2020. (Kyodo)
