Former "comfort woman" testifies in Tokyo
Lee Ok Son, 88, a South Korean woman who was forced to work in a Japanese wartime military brothel, speaks at a press conference at the parliament building in Tokyo on Jan. 26, 2016. The former "comfort woman" said she, as a teenager, spent life in a brothel in China during the war. The Japanese military abandoned her and other women after the war so she had no choice but to continue living in China for the subsequent 60 years. (Kyodo)
