Yoko Ono opens new exhibition on violence against women
Artist Yoko Ono flashes a peace sign at a museum in Mexico City on Feb. 2, 2016 during an event for her new exhibition themed on women struggling against violence. The works by Ono feature photographs of the eyes of more than 1,000 women along with descriptions of the damage they suffered. The widow of John Lennon expressed hope that her works will inspire people to take a stand against violence. (Kyodo)
