Fujita becomes 1st female jockey in 16 years in JRA
Nanako Fujita speaks at a press conference at Miho Training Center in the village of Miho, Ibaraki Prefecture, on Feb. 11, 2016, after the Japan Racing Association announced that she passed a test to get a jockey license. Fujita, 18, became the first female jockey in Japan in 16 years.
