Civil group oppose returning Buddhist statue to Japan
Members of a South Korean civil group stage a rally in Daejeon, South Korea, on Feb. 24, 2016, to claim that a Buddhist statue, stolen from a Japanese temple in 2012 and brought into South Korea, should not be returned to Japan. They argued the statue had been plundered by Japan in the past. (Kyodo)
