Japan trade minister hopes for Sharp's growth under Hon Hai

Japanese Economy, Trade and Industry Minister Motoo Hayashi expresses hope in Tokyo on Feb. 25, 2016 that Sharp Corp. will grow with the help of Taiwan's Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. Sharp announced earlier in the day that it will accept a roughly 660 billion yen ($5.9 billion) takeover bid by Hon Hai, making it the first major Japanese electronics maker to come under foreign ownership.
